Jharkhand Proposes Cancelling Three Exams After Talks With Students
Jharkhand sets up panel; agrees to cancel 3 exams · thehansindia.com

Some students in Jharkhand were upset about their exams because they thought the exams were unfair.

They protested for many days, all the way to day 16.

The state government met with the students to talk.

After the talks, the government said it might cancel three exams run by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.

It also created a panel with a retired judge to check what went wrong.

The students wanted the CBI, a central investigation agency, to look into the problem too.

The government has not agreed to that yet.

The students will decide on Monday whether to keep protesting, including an indefinite fast.
