IndiGo Pilot Recites Majrooh Sultanpuri Sher Before Kolkata Landing

An IndiGo plane was flying toward Kolkata.

Before landing, the pilot gave passengers normal updates about the distance, temperature, and arrival time.

Then he said he had something extra to share.

He recited a couplet by poet Majrooh Sultanpuri.

The poem says that someone who begins a journey alone may gain companions along the way.

A passenger named Sanchita recorded the announcement.

She posted it on Instagram, where many people praised the pilot.

IndiGo also thanked her for saying that the crew made the journey special.
