Telangana BJP Chief Condemns Revanth’s Praise of Owaisi Brothers

Telangana’s BJP leader criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for calling the Owaisi brothers patriots.

He said this was unfair to the country and accused the Chief Minister of trying to win political support.

The BJP leader asked why the brothers were being given what he called patriotic certificates.

He said patriotism includes respecting India’s flag and national anthem.

He pointed to an Assembly occasion when Majlis legislators did not stand during “Vande Mataram.”

He also mentioned a controversial statement by one Owaisi brother about what could happen if police were removed for 15 minutes.

Another BJP spokesperson referred to a 2024 parliamentary oath controversy involving Owaisi.

The BJP said Congress should demonstrate its patriotism by singing the full “Vande Mataram” in legislative assemblies.
