Lucknow Hosts Grand Juloos-e-Mohammadi Processions for Eid Milad-un-Nabi
Lucknow held large religious processions for Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
The occasion marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
One procession began at the Shahmeena Shah shrine in Chowk.
Another began at Jhande Wala Park in Aminabad.
Thousands of people joined the processions.
They raised religious slogans and recited Naat and Durood.
The Aminabad procession ended at Aishbagh Eidgah.
Religious leaders also called for respect, peace, unity and help for poor people.
Lucknow held Juloos-e-Mohammadi processions on 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
A major procession began at the Shahmeena Shah shrine in Chowk, while another started at Jhande Wala Park in Aminabad.
Thousands of devotees raised religious slogans and recited Naat and Durood along the procession routes.
The Aminabad procession, led by Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali, concluded at Aishbagh Eidgah.
Mufti Irfan Miyan Farangi Mahali urged respect for other faiths, communal harmony and assistance for the poor, while Razvi Youth organised a unity-focused Sabeel.
