Bihar Teacher’s Activity-Based Methods Earn State Teacher Award

Nikita Bharti is a teacher in Bihar who makes lessons active and fun.

She uses songs, games, dancing, and special learning materials.

In one activity, children pretend that birds fly away one at a time.

This helps them learn counting and subtraction.

They also learn fruit names through the song.

Nikita teaches children about good touch and bad touch through activities.

She wants students to participate instead of only listening.

Her work has been recognized with the State Teacher Award 2026.

She will receive the honour in Patna on September 5.
