Three Arrested in Belagavi Gram Panchayat Double Killing
Police arrested three people after a former soldier and his daughter were killed.
The attack happened inside a local gram panchayat office in Belagavi district.
The victims were Rudrappa Kundaragi and his daughter, Shashikala Kundaragi.
Rudrappa was 67 years old, and Shashikala was 26.
Rudrappa’s car driver was also hurt and taken to a hospital.
Police believe the violence may have been caused by a disagreement over family land.
The family had argued about how to divide a 38-gunta property.
Police are questioning the suspects to learn exactly what happened and what each person did.
