Rawalakot Sit-In Protest, Planned March to Muzaffarabad

In Rawalakot, a town in the disputed Kashmir region, many people, including women and children, sat in a protest at a square called D-Chowk.

They want to march peacefully to a nearby city called Muzaffarabad.

Some say the police have fired at them, and more than 50 people may have died.

A group called JAAC says the police are using too much force.

Another group, UKPNP, went to the United Nations in New York to tell the world about the violence.

The protesters shout slogans like "Aawaz do hum ek hai, Kashmir ke pahadon mein hum ek hai."

They want the government to listen to their demands and stop the violence.
