Mukul Agrawal’s Two Stock Holdings Need Careful Reading
Mukul Agarwal’s portfolio shows 2 new stocks. What sould investors know? · financialexpress.com

Stock trackers show when a large investor appears in company filings.

But appearing on a list does not always mean the investor just bought shares.

Mukul Agrawal had owned Purple Style Labs before it went public, so its listing only made his old investment visible.

Purple raised Rs 680 crore, but it also has large borrowings, continuing losses and negative cash flow.

Agrawal also increased his holding in Yaap Digital, a smaller marketing company.

Yaap has grown quickly and reports profits, but much of the money it earns has not yet arrived as cash.

Its share price has also fallen sharply from its high and can move quickly because few investors own it.

Investors therefore need to study the companies’ results rather than simply copy the disclosed holdings.
