Pakistan transporters strike over daily fuel price mechanism

Truck drivers and oil tanker drivers in Pakistan are on strike.

That means they stopped working on purpose to show they are angry.

They don't like that the government changes fuel prices every single day.

They want the old system back, where prices changed once a month.

They also think they pay too much tax.

Because the trucks stopped, factories and businesses that send goods to other countries are having problems.

More than 400,000 trucks have stopped driving.

The drivers' leader says they will keep striking until they meet government ministers on Monday.

The government did lower petrol and diesel prices a little on Friday, but the drivers still want bigger changes.
