Two-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Assaulted After Ice Cream Lure in Maval
Police said a very young girl was allegedly harmed in Maval.
The accused is a 51-year-old man named Balu Namdev Asawale.
Police said he lured the girl by offering to buy her ice cream.
They said he took her into a milk dairy.
The girl later told her mother what had happened.
Her mother reported the incident to police.
Police arrested the accused, and a court ordered that he remain in police custody until September 8.

Police said the incident occurred Tuesday between 11 a.m. and noon after the girl was allegedly lured with ice cream.
The girl later told her mother, who filed a complaint at Vadgaon Maval police station on Thursday.
A Vadgaon court remanded Asawale to police custody until September 8 as the investigation continues.
