Missing Techie Search Called Off; Police Turn To Digital Trail
A man named Advait Upadhyay has gone missing.
He is 32 years old and works with computers, helping to keep them safe from hackers.
That kind of job is called cybersecurity.
Advait went missing on August 7 while he was at a place called Shivagange Hill.
That hill is about 50 kilometres from the city of Bengaluru.
More than 100 helpers searched the hill for him.
They looked in forests, on cliffs, and in rough, rocky areas.
A famous rock climber and his team also helped search near a very high cliff.
But they did not find any clues.
Because the ground search did not work, police are now looking at his phone and computer messages to figure out what happened.
They are also checking whether he disappeared on purpose.

The 32-year-old Indore-based techie went missing on August 7 from Shivagange Hill, located 50 km northwest of Bengaluru.
Over 100 personnel from the NDRF, SDRF, Forest Department, and local police took part in the search.
Rock climber Jyothiraj, known as 'Kothiraj', and his team searched cliffs around Shantala Drop, nearly 4,800 feet above sea level.
Police are now analysing phone logs, digital communications, and online accounts, and exploring whether the disappearance was deliberately staged.
