Missing Bengaluru Techie's AI Searches Point to Suicide Angle
'How Long Will It Take To Die After Falling From Hill': Missing Bengaluru Techie Searched Before Trek; Police Eye Suicide · news18.com

A man named Advait Upadhyay went on a hike at a hill called Shivagange in India and did not come back.

Before the trip, he told his fiancée he was going trekking, and after starting the hike he sent her a photo and then stopped contacting anyone.

Police started looking for him and found his computer.

On the computer, there were questions asked to an AI tool about how long it would take to die if someone fell from Shivagange Hill.

Because of these searches, police are checking whether he may have planned to hurt himself.

Police also think he might have gone to the hill a few days earlier than he said.

Search teams with rescue workers and drones have been looking for him for days.

A drone took pictures of what might be a body near a very steep part of the hill called Shantala Drop, but no one can confirm it is him yet.

Rain and slippery rocks have made it hard for rescuers to reach the spot.

Police have not confirmed that Upadhyay died, and the search is still going on.
