Gurgaon’s ‘Ready’ Homes Face Missing Roads, Water and Power
No water, power connections, no proper road: Inside Gurgaon’s ‘ready’ homes · indianexpress.com

Some people in Gurgaon moved into homes that were officially cleared for occupation.

However, they say their housing societies still lack important things such as roads, regular electricity, water and promised facilities.

At ROF Alante, residents depend on tankers and generators and say the approach road is unsafe.

The developer says villagers have blocked construction work.

At Ambience Lagoon, residents say land meant for facilities was used differently and that some promised amenities are missing.

The developers’ lawyers have disputed the residents’ legal challenge.

Government inspections found that many buildings with Occupancy Certificates were not actually finished.

Officials are now examining certificates they believe were issued too early.
