The weather department expects rain in many parts of the state on September 18 and 19.

However, it has not issued an alert for very heavy or heavy rain through September 20.

Rain may become more common after September 21.

Weather experts expect another rainy period during the last week of September.

The monsoon officially ends on September 30, but it may leave some parts of the state in early October.
