NIEPID Students Win Dance, Music Honours In Kharghar
Students from NIEPID Navi Mumbai took part in dance and music competitions in Kharghar.
They competed against students from seven other special schools.
The NIEPID students won first place in both categories.
Thirty-two students participated from the institute.
Special educator Smita Nilkanth helped prepare the dance team for nearly a month.
Music teacher Meena Dasmohapatra guided the students for the music competition.
Their training was adjusted to match each student’s abilities.
The institute said the success came from the students, teachers, parents and wider team working together.
The officer in charge praised the students and wished them success in the future.
NIEPID Regional Centre Navi Mumbai won first place in both dance and music categories.
The district-level competition was organised by Inner Wheel Club Kharghar.
Eight special schools from the Navi Mumbai region participated in the event.
A total of 32 NIEPID students competed across the two categories.
