A place in India called Uttarakhand is expecting a lot of heavy rain and thunder storms.

The people who watch the weather said the rain could be very strong.

The leader of the state, Pushkar Singh Dhami, told everyone to be very careful.

To keep children safe, all schools were closed for the day.

Even the little daycare centers, called Anganwadi centers, were closed.

Rescue teams called SDRF and NDRF are ready to help people if there is an emergency.

The water in a river near a famous temple in Dehradun is going up.

People who live there and people visiting were told not to travel unless they really need to.

They were also told to stay away from rivers and streams.

Everyone is being careful so that nobody gets hurt.
