16 Finalists Interviewed for Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust CEO Post
A special group of people is helping to choose a new leader for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
The leader's job is called the CEO, and they will take care of the temple.
More than 5,500 people applied for this job, which is a very big number!
First, the committee read lots of applications.
Then they talked to about 111 people over video calls.
From those, only 16 people were invited to Ayodhya for a face-to-face interview.
The 16 finalists include former soldiers, retired officers and other professionals.
After more evaluation, the committee will send three names to the temple trust.
The trust will make the final choice.
The new CEO will look after the temple, keep visitors safe and manage all the arrangements.
Sixteen candidates were shortlisted for the final face-to-face interviews for the CEO post of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
The final interviews were conducted at the Trust campus in Ayodhya on August 11 and 12.
The selection process began with 5,585 applications, of which 3,877 candidates submitted detailed CVs and around 111 were invited for online interactions.
The finalists include Army veterans, retired IAS and IPS officers, and professionals from government and non-government services.
The Search Committee will forward a panel of three names to the Trust, which will make the final decision; the CEO will serve a three-year contract.
