The National Stock Exchange of India, or NSE, plans to sell shares to the public next week.

This sale is called an initial public offering, or IPO.

The IPO could raise about Rs 22,568.92 crore.

Based on the planned price, NSE could be worth about $46.18 billion.

That would make it the seventh-most-valuable exchange in the world.

NSE’s value would be about three times the value of the Bombay Stock Exchange, or BSE.

The IPO would also become the second-largest IPO in India’s Dalal Street market.

It could help total Indian IPO fundraising in 2026 cross Rs 1 lakh crore.
