Kerala Promotes Inclusive Tourism as Shared Responsibility

Kerala's Tourism Minister, P A Mohammed Riyas, talked about how important it is for everyone to work together to make tourism inclusive and accessible.

He said this isn't just a special service for a few people, but something that everyone should care about.

Kerala has started by making a special plan to make sure tourism is accessible to everyone, and other states are now doing the same.

The Minister explained that making tourism inclusive means removing barriers like physical obstacles, social issues, and lack of information.

He also said that having the right infrastructure, like ramps and lifts, and trained staff is very important.

The goal is to make sure everyone, including people with disabilities, senior citizens, and families with young children, can travel safely and comfortably.

Kerala is also working on a special project to make the Beypore constituency fully accessible for people with disabilities.
