14-Year-Old Student Kills 7, Injures 23 In Thailand School Shooting; Grandparents Among Dead · freepressjournal.in

A 14-year-old boy in Thailand did something very sad and very scary on Friday morning.

First, he used a gun at his grandparents' home, and both of them died.

Then he went to his school and shot teachers and other people who worked there.

Five people at the school died, and 23 more people were hurt, some very badly.

Afterward, the boy shot himself and died too.

Police say the gun was small and belonged to the boy's grandfather.

Nobody knows for sure why he did it, and police are still investigating.

Thailand's leader said he was very sad and that such an event is 'terrible' for the country.

Thailand has many guns owned by everyday people, among the highest rates in Asia, and people are discussing how to prevent shootings like this.
