Teen opens fire at Thai school, kills seven, injures 30
A 14-year-old boy in Thailand did something very sad and very scary.
He brought a gun to his school and started shooting.
At least seven people died and more than 30 people were hurt, some very badly.
Before he went to school, police say he shot his grandparents at home using his grandfather's gun.
Some of the people who died were teachers, and the kids at the school were very frightened.
Students hid under their desks and some climbed over the fence to escape.
The boy then shot himself and died on the way to the hospital.
Thailand's leader said the boy was stressed about school and had planned the attack.
Some students said he was a 'troubled kid' who liked the FBI and guns and may have been bullied.
Police are still trying to find out exactly why he did it.
A 14-year-old ninth-grade student opened fire at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Thailand, killing at least seven people and injuring more than 30, nine of them severely.
Police said the teen first fatally shot his grandparents at home using his grandfather's 9mm handgun; one report said five teachers were among those killed at the school.
Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said the suspect was under stress related to schooling and had clearly planned the attack, still carrying more than 30 bullets when he shot himself.
The shooter died on the way to the hospital after turning the gun on himself; no motive has been announced.
Fellow students described him as a 'troubled kid' interested in the FBI and guns who may have been bullied, while staff said he was a high-performing student and avid gamer.
