NRI Dies in Punjab Gun Accident
A man named Harpinder Singh, who had recently moved back to India from abroad, died in a sad accident.
He was sitting on a sofa with a relative when he stood up, and a gun he was carrying went off.
The bullet hit him in the stomach.
His family tried to help him, but he died on the way to the hospital.

Harpinder Singh, an NRI, died after a loaded gun at his waist discharged while he stood up from a sofa in Punjab's Firozepur district.
The incident was captured on CCTV, showing family members rushing to assist him after the gunshot.
Harpinder was taken to a government hospital and later referred to another hospital, where he died en route to Bathinda.
The police recorded the statement of Harpinder's father and took action under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Harpinder's funeral was held on Tuesday, attended by villagers and members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
