AR Rahman teams with Sony Vizha to launch Tamil Idol

Together they are creating a singing competition show called Tamil Idol.

The show will look for talented singers from Tamil Nadu, a state in India.

Anyone who wants to join can sign up using an app called Sony LIV.

The show wants to celebrate great singing and how music can change people's lives.

It will be shown on Sony Vizha and Sony LIV.

A company called Fremantle India is producing the show.

Rahman says this is the first time Tamil Nadu's voices will come together on such a big platform.

Registration starts on August 18, and the show is coming soon.
