Jio Leads Airtel in Odisha Download Speeds Per TRAI Test
Imagine different companies, like Jio and Airtel, are playing a race to see who can send information the fastest on your phone.
A government group called TRAI did a special test in Odisha to see who was the fastest.
They drove around cities and on highways, measuring how quickly phones could download things.
Jio won the race, sending information about twice as fast as Airtel.
Jio was also the fastest at sending information using 5G and 4G.
While Jio was faster at downloading, Airtel was a little quicker at uploading with 5G in busy spots.

Reliance Jio recorded the highest overall download speed of 191.10 Mbps in TRAI's Independent Drive Test in Odisha.
Jio's download speed was double that of its closest competitor, Airtel, which clocked 96.48 Mbps.
The tests were conducted between August 19-22, 2025, in Rourkela city and on the Bhubaneswar to Rourkela highway.
In busy hotspots, Jio achieved the highest 5G download speed at 219.43 Mbps and the highest 4G download speed at 39.77 Mbps.
Jio leads in Odisha with over 1.67 crore mobile subscribers and over 6.14 lakh home broadband subscribers.
