BJP Members Open Rs 10 NaMo Mall for Puja Clothes
Four BJP members opened a temporary shop in Panihati before Durga Puja.
They called it the “NaMo Mall.”
Economically weaker residents can buy new clothes there for Rs 10.
The shop has sarees, shirts, trousers and children’s clothes.
Organisers said it had about 10,000 garments.
Sukanta Majumdar inaugurated it on Thursday.
Around 2,500 people visited on its first day, according to the organisers.
One organiser said the idea came from seeing children outside shopping malls during Puja.
