TISS Reschedules Convocation, Names New Chief Guest After Protest Fears

A big university in Mumbai called TISS was getting ready for a special celebration called a convocation.

The Chief Justice of India, the country's top judge, was invited to be the guest of honour.

But just two days before the event, the university suddenly cancelled it without saying why.

People later said the university was worried some students might protest because the judge was coming.

Now the ceremony has a new date and a different special guest.

Some law students at another university in Hyderabad also did not want this judge at their ceremony.

The judge said students have the right to protest.

A group called the Bar Council made a rule against those students, but later took it back and said sorry.
