Vaishnavi Adkar Wins Bronze, Secures India's First WUG Medal

At the World University Games, Vaishnavi Adkar made history by winning a bronze medal in tennis, becoming the first Indian woman to do so.

In archery, India is guaranteed at least two silver medals, with the mixed team competing for gold.

Several track and field athletes also advanced to the finals in their respective events.

This year, India's performance has been less successful than the last Games.

In the previous edition, India won 26 medals, but this year's medal count is lower because shooting was not included as a sport.
