The Assam Cabinet held a special meeting about Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life.

It adopted 75 resolutions describing what it sees as his contributions to Assam and the Northeast.

The resolutions mentioned roads, tunnels, factories, energy projects and investment plans.

They also pointed to peace agreements with groups in Assam.

The cabinet cited hospitals and educational institutions, including AIIMS Guwahati and IIM Guwahati.

It noted that the Charaideo Moidams received UNESCO World Heritage recognition and Assamese became a Classical Language in 2024.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said improved peace and connections helped create opportunities for development.

The cabinet also noted Modi has visited Assam 36 times as Prime Minister.
