Vithya Ramaraj Anchors India to Asian Games Relay Silver

India won a silver medal in the mixed 4x400-metre relay.

The race was held at the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.

Four runners shared the race for India.

Manu TS ran first, followed by Poovamma MR and Vishal Thennarasu.

Vithya Ramaraj ran the final 400 metres.

Bahrain was ahead during the final part of the race.

Vietnam was between India and the silver-medal position.

Ramaraj said she felt nervous but gained confidence by watching her teammates.
