Delhi Woman Arrested Over Husband's Murder with Lover
A woman in Delhi, India, was very unhappy with her husband and wanted him gone.
She made a plan with a boyfriend to hurt him.
They gave the husband medicine to make him fall asleep.
While he was sleeping, the boyfriend and his friend hurt him with a rope and electricity.
The husband died from his injuries.
The woman told the police that robbers did it, but that was not the truth.
Cameras near the house caught a person wearing a mask going inside.
When the police asked more questions, she broke down and told them the real story.
Now the woman, her boyfriend, and his friend are in jail.
Munna Lal, 55, was found lying in a pool of blood on a road in Sangam Vihar, Delhi, on August 10 and was declared dead at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.
His wife, 45-year-old Manju alias Nazia, allegedly conspired with her lover Chaman and his 28-year-old associate Kishan to kill him.
Chaman allegedly provided sleeping pills that Nazia mixed into Munna Lal's water before he was strangled, smothered, given electric shocks and beaten with a wooden stick.
Nazia initially claimed burglars killed her husband, but CCTV footage of a masked man entering the house led police to question her until she confessed.
Nazia had promised Chaman Rs 5 lakh for the murder and paid him Rs 20,000 afterward; all three accused have been arrested.
