Bihar Assembly Adjourned Amid Protest Chaos
The Bihar Assembly was adjourned on Thursday after just a few minutes of proceedings.
The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) members blamed the opposition for the violent student protests that happened the day before in Patna.
The opposition, however, claimed that the NDA members were acting like ruffians.
The opposition leader, Alok Mehta, said they had to run for their lives, while the BJP leader, Ram Kripal Yadav, accused the opposition of trying to cause chaos.
The protests turned violent, with at least 22 police personnel getting injured.
The assembly was adjourned until 2 pm to prevent further clashes.
