Dhruva Space from India and Safran Space from France signed a space technology agreement.

The contracts are worth more than €5 million.

The companies plan to work on a much larger project involving 275 satellites.

Dhruva will provide several important satellite parts and ground systems.

Some of these technologies could be used for India’s planned space-surveillance network.

That network is expected to have 52 satellites.

India approved the network in 2024 and plans to deploy it between 2026 and 2030.

Dhruva is also building a large facility near Hyderabad to help produce the satellites.

The agreement was announced at a space summit in Paris.
