Nellore Mayor felicitates karate athletes for international gold medals

Two young karate players named Jhansi Reddy and Charan Reddy won gold medals at a big international karate competition.

They live in a city called Nellore.

A mayor is a leader of a city, and Nellore's Mayor, Devarakonda Sujatha Ashok, wanted to congratulate them.

She met the players at her office, along with another city leader called Commissioner YO Nandan.

The players showed their golden medals and awards to the leaders.

The Mayor said the city would help them at their future sports competitions.

The Commissioner put shawls on the students as a special honor.

Some karate teachers also joined the meeting.

Everyone was proud of the young champions and wished them good luck for the future.
