Maharashtra Cabinet Approves Soft Loans to Clear Sugarcane Dues

The loans will also support sugar-mill operations during the 2026-27 season, according to the Chief Minister’s Office.
The Cabinet approved a one-year Maharashtra Technical Assistance Cell project to evaluate 25 state policies and 25 welfare schemes.
It granted a stamp-duty exemption for a Nashik Municipal Corporation building leased to the Nashik branch of the Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad.
Other decisions included land allotment in Wardha, amendments to land and municipal laws, and four new administrative posts.
