Young Robotics Champions to Represent India at Geneva Finale
Young people from across India took part in a robotics competition at the India Mobile Congress 2026.
There were 57 teams, with about 300 students and mentors.
The students were between 10 and 18 years old.
They built and programmed robots to help with tasks in a public health emergency.
These tasks included delivering medical kits and setting up a quarantine area.
Team Singularity won the Junior category, and Ferrum Incubators won the Senior category.
Both teams will represent India at a world finale in Geneva in June 2027.
The challenge also encouraged teamwork and made use of free robotics software and hardware.
Team Singularity won the Junior category and Ferrum Incubators won the Senior category at the Robotics for Good Youth Challenge India 2026–2027.
The winning teams will represent India at the Global Grand Finale in Geneva during the AI for Good Global Summit in June 2027.
The competition took place alongside the India Mobile Congress 2026 and brought together 57 teams from 14 states.
Around 300 students and mentors participated; students aged 10 to 18 built autonomous robots for a public health emergency-response mission.
Organisers said the challenge promoted teamwork, practical problem-solving, sustainable design and access to robotics using free software and hardware.
