Telangana Opens Student Registrations for Innovate Telangana Hackathon
Telangana is holding a hackathon for students in the first and second years of intermediate education.
It is called Innovate Telangana and will last 15 days.
Students can sign up from October 12 to October 17.
They will think of everyday problems and design a prototype or an AI-based solution.
Their ideas can focus on areas such as health, education, farming, water or accessibility.
Students must finish an online readiness course and send in their project by October 22.
Judges will review the projects, and selected students will visit companies and meet technology leaders.
Students who finish the course get certificates, while the top three finalists will receive cash awards; the award amounts have not yet been announced.
Telangana’s Department of Intermediate Education announced a 15-day statewide hackathon for first- and second-year students.
Registrations run from October 12 until 5 p.m. on October 17 through the CodeMitra Future Skills Platform.
Students will create prototypes or AI-based solutions addressing themes such as education, healthcare, agriculture and water conservation.
Project reports or prototype demonstration links are due October 22; submissions will be reviewed October 23–24 and evaluated October 26.
Selected students will visit companies on October 27–28; course completers receive certificates and the top three finalists receive cash incentives.
