Kerala Name Change To MSMEs: Lok Sabha Passes 9 Out Of 11 Bills Without Debate As Stalemate Continues · news18.com

India's Parliament has two main groups: the government and the Opposition.

Right now, the two sides are stuck arguing and cannot agree.

The Opposition wants the Home Minister to talk about what happened to student protesters in Delhi on July 20.

The government says it will discuss student protests in general, but not just that one day.

Because of this, Opposition members shout and hold up signs in the meeting hall, which stops normal work.

As a result, the Lok Sabha approved nine out of eleven new laws without even discussing them.

One of those laws changes the name of the southern state Kerala to Keralam.

The Speaker of the House said he feels sad and upset about all the disruptions.

He asked both sides to work together so important laws can be debated properly.
