Tourism Malaysia boosts Indian market ties with sales mission
Malaysia wants more people from India to visit their country.
So, the people at Tourism Malaysia are holding meetings in big Indian cities like Chennai, Mumbai, and New Delhi.
These meetings are called a Sales Mission.
Almost 50 Malaysian hotels, travel companies, and airlines are taking part.
They want to create great travel packages for Indian visitors.
Malaysia made it easier for Indians to visit by allowing them to travel without a visa starting in December 2023.
After that, more than 1.5 million Indian people visited Malaysia in 2025.
Now India is one of Malaysia's top five countries for visitors.

India became one of Malaysia's top five source markets after visa-free travel was introduced in December 2023, with over 1.5 million Indian visitors in 2025.
