Xiaomi has made a new phone called the Redmi Note 17 5G, and it is now on sale in India.

The phone features a 6.99-inch TrueColour AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and 1800 nits peak brightness.
It packs an 8,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.
Storage is capped at 128GB across both variants, which the review calls a limitation rather than a choice.
The 225g, 8.4mm-thick device runs HyperOS 3 on Android and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, making it a two-handed phone.
