Redmi Note 17 5G Launched In India With 8,000mAh Battery
Xiaomi has launched a new phone in India called the Redmi Note 17 5G.
The most special thing about this phone is its very big battery — the biggest battery ever on a Redmi Note phone.
Because of the big battery, Xiaomi calls this the 'mAhster Edition'.
The phone has a big 6.99-inch screen that shows bright colours and refreshes very fast at 120 times a second.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and has a 50-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera in the front.
The Redmi Note 17 5G comes in three colours: Starlight Purple, Dark Night and Arctic Blue.
In India, it costs at least ₹27,999, and the bigger version costs ₹30,999.
People can buy it starting August 12.
If they pay with certain bank cards, they get ₹2,000 off, so the price can start at ₹24,999.
It is a lot like the older Redmi Note 15 5G, but the battery is much bigger.
Redmi Note 17 5G launched in India, priced at ₹27,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant and ₹30,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant.
It packs the largest battery on a Redmi Note phone: 8,000mAh with 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Key specs include a 6.99-inch TrueColour AMOLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, 50-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera.
Sales begin August 12 via Xiaomi's online store and Amazon India, though a pre-launch article cited an August 11 start.
A ₹2,000 instant bank discount with Axis Bank, SBI or Kotak Bank cards brings the effective starting price to ₹24,999.
