Avalanches kill two in Italy’s Alps

There were big snow slides in the mountains of Italy called the Alps.

These snow slides, called avalanches, hurt and killed some people.

One avalanche happened near the French border and another near a popular skiing place.

Strong winds made it hard for rescue teams to help because they couldn't use helicopters.

People are being told to be careful and not go skiing or hiking in risky areas because the snow is still unstable.

Another person died in a different part of Italy from another avalanche.

Everyone is being told to stay safe and avoid dangerous areas.
