Gujarat Launches Shaktidoot 2.0 Scheme, Rs 388 Crore Sports Infrastructure

Gujarat has made a new plan to help athletes called Shaktidoot 2.0.

Under this plan, the government will give sportspersons up to Rs 50 lakh in help, which is double the old amount.

Kids as young as nine years old can now apply, so young talent can be found early.

The plan is fair to everyone, including players who are deaf, blind, or differently-abled.

Expert judges will use a fair scoring system to choose players, and big competitions like the Olympics matter the most.

The government is also building sports complexes, libraries, and study halls worth more than Rs 388 crore.

At a big event, 799 talented players will receive special awards like the Eklavya Award.

Even players not in the main plan can get quick help if they perform really well during the year.

The launch will happen on Wednesday at Mahatma Mandir in Gujarat.
