Palghar Conducts NDRF Flood Rescue Training For Civic Teams

Palghar officials held a special training session to help rescue teams respond to floods.

The National Disaster Response Force, or NDRF, helped conduct the programme.

It took place in the Surya River at Maswan.

Teams practised search and rescue skills in flowing water.

Rescue workers came from several local civic bodies.

These included Palghar, Jawhar and Dahanu Municipal Councils and Talasari Nagar Panchayat.

The training was designed to prepare them for floods and other water emergencies.

The goal is to help teams rescue people more quickly and safely.
