FacePay machine launched at Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank in Tirupati
A bank in India called Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank got a new machine named FacePay.
This machine uses your face to help you bank.
Instead of a card or a secret number, you just look at the machine.
It scans your face to check that you are really you.
Then you can take out money from your account.
You can also see how much money you have in the bank.
And you can download a paper that shows your account details.
The bank says this is the first machine like it in the whole country.
Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank launched a FacePay machine at its Tirupati branch on Teertha Katta Street.
The machine uses facial recognition technology for secure and convenient banking.
Customers can withdraw cash, check account balances, and download account statements by scanning their face.
Regional Office Manager N Kameswara Rao inaugurated the facility.
Rao said the service is the first-of-its-kind introduced in the country.
