There's a big problem in Kerala, India, where some people replaced good ghee meant for a holy place called Sabarimala with cheaper, lower-quality ghee.

This happened between November 2025 and January 2026.

The investigation has found that over 35,000 packets of ghee were sold secretly, and many more went missing.

This caused a loss of around ₹36.3 lakh and made illegal profits of ₹85 lakh.

The government and Milma officials are trying to find out who is responsible, but some people, including a man named Shine Joseph, are being protected by the Left governing body.

The investigation is ongoing, and the government is asking for a detailed report.
