The bank earned a profit of ₹24,113 crore, which is a really big amount of money.

That is 12 percent more than it earned in the same three months last year, so the bank did better.

Its total income also grew, reaching ₹1,80,061.86 crore.

The bank also spent more money this year than last year on running its business.

For every share of the bank, it earned about ₹21.28 this quarter.

SBI keeps some money aside as a safety backup in case loans are not paid back.
