HCLTech and Wacker Chemie Establish Global Center in Pune
HCLTech and Wacker Chemie have created a new work center in Pune, India.
This center is called a Global Capability Center, or GCC.
It will help Wacker with engineering, computer technology and digital projects.
HCLTech will help build and manage the center.
The companies say it should be flexible, reliable and ready for future work.
They also plan to use automation and DevSecOps practices.
Wacker and HCLTech have already worked together since an IT agreement signed in 2021.
HCLTech says it now has more than 250 GCC clients.
HCLTech has established a Global Capability Center in Pune with German chemicals and biotechnology company Wacker Chemie.
The center will support Wacker Chemie’s engineering, information technology and digital transformation initiatives.
HCLTech said the GCC will use a flexible, resilient and future-ready delivery model, including DevSecOps and automation.
Wacker Chemie and HCLTech were already partners under a five-year, end-to-end IT transformation agreement signed in 2021.
HCLTech said it currently serves more than 250 Global Capability Center clients.
