SC to hear CBSE OSM exam plea on August 21
The Supreme Court of India is the highest court in the country.
It is now looking at how school exams run by the CBSE are marked.
Students' answer sheets are scanned, and teachers check them on computers instead of paper.
This is called the On-Screen Marking system, or OSM.
Some students passed their CBSE exams but did not score enough marks to get into the courses they wanted.
Some of these courses have already started.
The court told the CBSE to find out how these students' interests can be protected.
The judges will hear the case again on August 21.

The Supreme Court will hear on August 21 a plea seeking directions to the Centre and the CBSE to frame regulations for conducting exams through the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.
A bench of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana took up the matter on Friday.
Some students who passed their CBSE exams did not secure the minimum marks needed for admission to other courses, some of which have already commenced.
The bench told the counsel for the CBSE to find out how the interests of such students can be protected.
The PIL seeks a high-powered committee to supervise reforms, relaxation in minimum qualifying marks, and exemption from the 75 per cent class 12 criteria.
