BJP revamps national team, Smriti Irani returns as general secretary

The Bharatiya Janata Party, a big political group in India, decided to change its team of leaders.

The party's president, Nitin Nabin, picked many new people to help run things.

Out of 65 team members, 51 are brand new.

Smriti Irani, who used to be a minister, is coming back as a general secretary.

Ram Madhav, who used to work with the RSS, is now a vice president.

The team also has 10 women and six people from minority communities.

Many of the new members are younger than 60 years old.

The party wants to be ready for elections that will happen in the next few years.

They also made sure people from 23 different states are part of the team.

This way, the party hopes to hear about different parts of India.
