GAIL Reports 96% Rise in Q1 Profit, Gas Drives Growth
GAIL is a big Indian company that sells natural gas.
In the first three months of its 2026‑2027 financial year, it made a lot more money than last year—almost double.

Sequential profit rose 215% from Rs 1,481 crore in the March quarter.
Share price rose over 4% intraday, up 10% in six months.
